"Villiers Mark 40 Four-Stroke Engine - Operating Instructions and Spare Parts List.". This is an original Australian user's manual for a Villiers 4 stroke stationary engine, that appears to have also been used in some rotary hoes. Publisher: Villiers Australia Pty Limited, Wendouree, Ballarat, Victoria, Australia. Printed in Australia, in English language. Date: Not dated, I am estimating this is from the about the first half of the 1960's. 32 pages (plus covers), this measures about 141 mm x 218 mm (about 5.5" x 8.6"). With line drawn illustrations, this covers: Technical Data, Operating instructions, Routine Attention, Maintenance and Repairs (covering various components), servicing instructions for the Oil Bath Air Filter and operating instructions for the Zenith 24T-2 Carburetter, then has a spare parts list section with line drawn exploded view illustrations of parts and listing part number, description, quantity required, followed by Tracing troubles, and Guarantee. Ink writing: Archive number written at the bottom of the front cover. Condition: Back cover shows soiling and browning and general wear, front cover shows some wear and light marks but is quite presentable, corners are bumped with some wear, inside otherwise shows useage with browning to the paper and a few finger marks but is mainly clean and quite presentable, reasonable plus condition overall.
