With it you can create shop drawings, proposals & contracts and cutlists for many types of cabinets. Jobs can be saved and later opened or edited. After a job is saved you can print all the shop drawings at the same time or just the ones you need. View the job in the elevation view, floor plan view or 3D to see if everything looks right before you start building. Each cabinet’s shop plan is printed with a parts list and a drawing on one sheet, except for the combined cabinets that have two or more sheets each. You have control over all material thickness, including box material, face frame material, drawer box material, and back material. Also, you can set how much it deducts for drawer guides, drawer height, drawer depth, drawer rabbet depth, door overlay, door stile and rail cutter depth, door gap for paired doors, dado depth, and much, much more. All these sizes are applied automatically. All openings with doors can be set for no doors, a single door or paired doors with any of 16 types of doors. All stiles and rails are individually adjustable on each cabinet. With all this, it is still very easy to use and won't cost you an arm and a leg like the major cabinet software companies charge ($500-$10,000+). If you are still using paper and pencil to do your planning, you absolutely owe it to yourself to try this program. It can easily cut hours off your design time and help cut down on waste when cutting out your parts using the panel optimizer. This can add up to an extra couple hundred dollars profit for each job! Cabinet Planner works on all computers running Windows XP through Windows 8. It requires about 6MB of free disc space to run. Will it run on a Mac? Recently I was informed by one of my customers that they were using the program on a Mac with “Parallels”, a Windows emulator. If you have a Mac and want to know if the program will work for you, first get one of the emulator programs and then download Cabinet Planner and see if the free trial runs. It sounds like it should, but truthfully I’m not very familiar with Macs and can’t guarantee it will. This program requires registration for each installation, but is not required to use the free trial. It is Highly Recommended that you try the FREE TRIAL before purchasing the program.
