Calibrated HP/Agilent 8481A Power Sensor Tested WORKS & Accurate Description Up for sale is a fully functioning and highly accurate Hewlett-Packard 8481A power sensor in excellent condition. See below for measurement data. The sensor operates with power meters of the EPM series, EPM-P series including the popular E4416A and E4418A, 70100A and E1416A and can also be used with the older HP 43X power meters including the analog meters 435A and 435B. Offered for sale here is the Power Sensor with serial number 1926A25114. Specifications The power input port on the sensor is a male N-connector and has an impedance of 50 ohms. The power sensor is specified for signals ranging from –30 dBm to +20 dBm (1μW to 100mW) for a frequency range from 10 MHz to 18 GHz. The maximum power is 300 mW average and 15 W peak. The sensor offers a low SWR over the frequency range and a high accuracy of measurement when using the calibration factors that are printed on the sensor and after calibration. Condition The sensor was tested over the entire frequency range of 10 MHz to 18 GHz and found to be functioning properly and accurate within the measurement accuracy of the test equipment available. The following table shows the deviation of the measurements as compared to measurements of the same signal source by another 8481A power sensor. The power sensor is in excellent condition. The calibration factor chart printed on the sensor is clear and very legible.
