These single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNT) were made by the arc process, and were purified by a new and proprietary gas phase purification process which purifies more completely than the standard (acid) process, gives higher yields, and heals defect sites.  The nanotubes on auction are substantially free of amorphous carbon, have fewer defects, and have much less metallic catalyst residue than other SWCNTs on the market (1-2% TGA residue, as compared with 4-10% for most commercial SWCNT). Fewer defects and higher purity may give higher performance in your application.  We are working to produce SWCNT with the highest purity available, which will ultimately realize in practice the high theoretical electrical and mechanical performances of SWCNT. These SWCNT are also being sold at a significantly reduced price, as compared with other SWCNT on the market. Price quoted is per gram.
