Jumper Carousel Horse - Size 50" long This is a large reproduction of a Jumper Style carousel horse, cast in heavy duty polyresin, strong but is light in weight. This large horse is 50 inches long and 41 inches high, in a graceful jumping position. The horse has been hand painted and is ready to mount up for display. These horses are made for decorative display only. Not made to carry any weight or to sit on. The reason this is do discounted is because there is a slight crack that barely shows up in the close up photo's on the top by the saddle, close to where the mounting hole is (where the pole goes thru). When we supplied these it was typical to get a crack in that area, even right when we got them in….but going into a commercial location and the horses were mounted at about eye level, so the clients never cared about the crack because it really was not visible from how it is mounted so it was never a problem. The crack does not effect the stability or structure of the horse as it is supported from the bottom belly of the horse with a flange that I supply to you. And not to make light of it, but unless you are looking for the crack you really don’t notice it…. On occasion the restaurant would get the horse damaged or cracked in other areas like when someone tried to sit on it….but they would fix those with a hobby putty and touch them up with paint from a hobby store and again, it was not a big deal. IMPORTANT NOTE: A mounting pole is included. It requires a 2” dia. Pole either in brass or wood, and some flanges to mount this. We will supply a typical mounting package with it. We may be able to accomodate a different package or a basic brass stand for an upcharge of approximately $100, if you email us your specific mounting requirements we can let you know. A typical mounting in some national chain of casual dining restaurants is a brass pole with 2 flanges at either end, and a tapered flange to hold the horse at the correct height on the 60” pole. It is your responsibility to inspect your item for concealed damage immediately after you receive it. You should open the item during delivery and note any internal damage not already noted on the bill of lading. Any and all damaged equipment must be documented with the freight driver before the driver departs your location. Also, Freight companies only accept hidden damage claims for a short time after delivery, normally 2 weeks. Merchandise We try to present the item as accurately as possible.
