FEATURES Challenge OEM drill bits today feature a new alloy steel for an excellent balance of toughness, high-temperature strength, and wear resistance. This allows for: - Extended bit life - A sharper bit, through more drilling cycles - Greater productivity with fewer changeovers Two & Half (2.5”) Bits Standard on the following models: 2-1/2" Capacity Drill Bits are used in Challenge models Handy-Drill, EH-3A, EH-3C, MS-5 and MS-10A. These models will also accept 2" drill bits when the heads are adjusted down to the lower position. Generally if you own a 2-1/2" capacity drilling machine you will only purchase 2" bits if the size you require is not available in 2-1/2". There are nine additional size drill bits available in 2" which are not available in the 2-1/2" capacity size. Please remember to adjust your heads to the uppermost position before changing between a 2" and a 2-1/2" drill bits to prevent risk of breaking your bits.
