Charvoz Placom Digital Planimeter KP-92N Measuring Instrument Engineering Tool with plastic case and test gage (disc) for checking the accuracy of the instrument. Factory determined figures are engraved on the surface of the test gage. The test gage is provided with three pins to be fixed on the sheet of the drawing paper. Also include is a 25 ratio pantograph made of I believe aluminum. Please see photos for condition of items. The Planimeter powers up with the power supply but I have not allowed a full charge of the battery to determine the life of the battery in the unit.Instructions for How to Adjust with Test RuleHow To Check The Drawing Accuracy of the Instrument:1. Level and paste a sheet of drawing paper on a drawing board approximately horizontal. First, draw a fine line of approximately 15 cm long on the right side of the sheet. Then fix the test disc as a center line.2. Adjust the tracer arm length at the position.3. Put the center point of the tracer lens on the line pressing the tracer lens lightly but firmly to the outer edge of the test disc.4. Then press the START key and after confirming that the display shows "0", move the tracer lens slowly clockwise around the circumference of the test disc to the starting point. Then press the HOLD key.5. If the value of the displayed figure is 540 +- 1 in Metric system, and in English system the value is 800 +-1, this instrument is correctly adjusted.6. If the value of the displayed figure is more or less than 540 +0 1 (or 800 +-1, in English system), adjust the tracer arm length by the following procedures.a). When more than 540 +-1 (or 800 +-1), move the tracer arm toward left to shorten the tracer arm length.b). When less than 540 +-1 (or 800 +-1), move the tracer arm toward right to length the tracer arm length.
