Perhaps you might consider it for TIG welding sheet metal or bicycle frames. It is extremely light (17.7 lbs), and has all REMOVEABLE connectors. It is also capable of using inert gases (e.g. Argon, CO2) inlet and outlet. Note, if you are new to welding you might consider purchasing a MIG instead, as it only requires using one hand.
