Overview: The ClearOne AccuMic II is a stand-alone microphone that brings affordable, high-end audio to set-top, desktop and PC-based videoconferencing systems. Features & Benefits: VTM (Voice Tracking Microphone) technology activates only the mic closest to the person speaking. Echo cancellation removes echo and prevents word clipping, providing natural conversation. PA adaptive mode prevents loudspeaker audio from gating on the AccuMic II. Adaptive ambient mode adapts the AccuMic IIs gating parameters to changing ambient noise levels. LED Visual Feedback Indicator indicates direction of audio pickup. Link an optional AccuMic II extension mic to extend pickup range. Both mic systems share gating information and can be muted simultaneously with either mute button. First mic priority increases intelligibility by allowing only one mic to gate on to someone’s voice. NOM (number of open mics) references mic gating activity and maintains a constant output level to the remote site. The AccuMic II uses multiple microphones to create 360-degree dynamic audio pick-up. In addition, the AccuMic II uses wide-band digital audio (50Hz-7kHz) that matches video codec bandwidth to provide high-quality, intelligible sound. You can extend the audio pick-up range of the AccuMic II while maintaining sound quality by connecting an optional AccuMic II extension mic.
