This series has higher speeds and feeds for increased productivity over standard drill bits. The round shank diameter is the same as the drill size. The 2075A series has a wide land parabolic flute design that enhances chip removal. The coolant has a better flow to the drill point for heat dissipation, and can be used at higher speeds and feeds for increased productivity. The TiAlN coating resists heat better than TiN and TiCN coatings, helping increase tool life and performance. It also has increased hardness compared to TiN and may reduce the need for lubricants based on the application. The wider land increases the torsional strength of the drill which increases the hole tolerance for high precision work. This series of drill bits are suitable for drilling into stainless steel, carbon steel, cast iron, aluminum, brass, plastic and nickel alloys. The spiral flutes act as a passageway for chip removal.
