USA MADE~Chisolm Moore,(Columbus McKinnon) 1-1/2 ton 640 series, aluminum puller, aka (come-a-long), (12')chain , **GOOD WORKING~LOAD TESTED,proper working "Free chain" modeI disassembled,cleaned stripped, and inspected & load tested this come-along.IT IS GOOD I installed (2) new clutches.This will now properly pull & control lower a 3000 lb. load CM (640 series) come-along are considered to be the Rolls Royce of come-alongs. However, like any high performance car this come-along required proper care and maintenance. It is important to know that when these are neglected and over exposed to inclement weather. inside rust reduces the free chain function.This reduction of "free chain" causes many of these to be improperly or (over lubricated),Thus severely reducing the hoist capability. For this reason,7 out of 10 (of those that I buy) on the secondary market do not work properly. Therefore,I Strongly Suggest that in purchasing ANY used 640 series CM come-alongs, that they be LOAD TESTED, DO NOT BE MISLEAD BY SELLERS WHO SAY they "Tested by Working the come-along" good working/fully functioning no damage good hooks( not spread) no hook safeties new clutches this will ship Fedex cannot ship to a PO box please provide a contact phone # signature will nor be required (unless requested) If maintained & used properly,This Come-along will provide a lifetime of service.
