Thank you for your interest in this Cole Parmer 7523-80 Masterflex L/S Pump This Masterflex pump was removed from a lab that recently started encountering some issues with it These issues are all related to the drive motor on the pump - When the pump operates, it spins smoothly and with no grinding or other signs of problems Instead, it almost seems like the motor has a difficult time finding its position / starting This would often indicate an issue with Hall or position sensors within the motor, however, we can not confirm that this is the issue The pump otherwise powers up properly - nothing smells burnt or damaged, and by power cycling the pump we were even able to get the pump spinning at various speeds in both directions for a period of 10 minutes or so before an error relating to motor position came up We also received errors relating to motor over current (after a few seconds of the motor seizing/failing to start) The pump is being sold as-is for parts or repair
