Cole-Parmer Circulating Bath for Standard Coliform Testing Preset at 44.5°C — the temperature most specified by APHA, AWWA, EPA, and WEF for fecal coliform testing Built-in pump also circulates to external apparatus This bath is factory-preset to 44.5°C — the temperature required for fecal coliform determination as specified in Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater (19th edition, 1995). Since the temperature setting can be changed, this bath is also ideal for standard method coliform and E. coli testing at 35.0°C, 41.5°C, or 45.5°C. On powering up, the controller automatically returns to the last temperature setting in memory. Seamless stainless steel tank holds up to 28 liters. Built-in two-speed pump circulates constant-temperature fluid around your test samples. Pump is also capable of circulating liquid to an external apparatus using a closed-loop configuration. Over-temperature protection thermostat prevents the bath from burnout. Hinged polycarbonate gable cover (included) tilts away from bath, directing condensation back into your bath and eliminating puddles on your benchtop. Bath also includes a perforated steel tray, thermometer clip, and 6-ft power cord with U.S. standard plug (240 VAC model has a European plug).
