This is a piece of commercially pure tantalum that was purchased for a project that my company did for one of the Nation Laboratories in the US. This piece was out of tolerance for the flatness that the company needed so we were not able to sell it and I got it as a souvenir. The piece measures roughly 6 7/16" long x 1 1/2" wide x 3/8 thick. We paid over $650 for each blank from the mill, this is your chance to get some tantalum for a steal of a deal.
