With a cost of only $.35-$.75 per square foot, compared to $5 or more per square foot, these faux stones can dramatically decrease your expenses. After at least one day, preferably two, remove the molds. To use the molds, apply form release spray (even vegetable spray can be used) and mix concrete. These molds typically retail for hundreds of dollars. Integral color can be added or the concrete stones can be painted. The Concrete Stone 8 Rubber Flat Molds are an economical alternative to purchasing manufactured stone from home centers or specialty stores. To cure the stones, set them in sand.
