The Contour XLR series represents the latest in eye-safe laser range finding technology.  This compact, lightweight unit is ideal for distance measurements in any conditions. Simply point and shoot to instantly obtain an accurate range measurement.  The Contour XLR can successfully range to cables at 175 meters, telephone poles at 400 meters and buildings at 800 meters.  Bad weather will not slow you down, just switch to poor weather mode and cut through fog, rain, snow, dust, and just about anything nature can throw your way.  The Unit is equipped with: Head-Up Display High power density NiMH battery pack Illuminated aiming reticule for pinpoint targeting Back-lit LCD Active Matrix graphical display Ergonomically designed handle for maximum comfort while use  Key Features: Fast, target specific acquisition 1:1 viewing for precise target identification Continuously updated range reading Audio tone feedback when target is obtained Simple to use push button interface protection against water and dust Construction: Rugged aluminum housing High impact ABS handle houses power source Durable rubber bumpers protect critical areas Includes Platform mountable format; the handle is replaced with an anodized aluminum interface plate for secure mounting.
