Corometrics 115 Fetal Monitor The fetal monitor has a built-in printer on the front of the unit that takes 6-inch-wide paper slips. There are three round 12-pin female sockets on the front labelled "phono ultrasound," "ECG," and "UA." Below these sockets is a label reading "ECG input electrically isolated. Refer to manual for proper transducers." Above these sockets are two three-digit digital LED displays labelled "HR" (with an additional LED in the shape of a stylised heart) and "UA" (with an additional LED to indicate positive values). Beside these sockets are 8 buttons in two columns. Two are volume increase and decrease. One is labelled "UA Reference." There is a button labelled "Mark," a button labelled "Record" with an amber light beside it, and one labelled "Paper Advance." Below these are a pair of buttons separated from the first six by a gap, one labelled "Test" and the other labelled with a power on/off glyph and adjacent to a green light. On the underside of the unit, just under the front control panel, are three additional buttons labelled "Select T/D" and then up and down arrows. The unit is equipped for dual heart rate monitoring. On the back of the unit are seven plugs. One is a standard recessed male computer power connector (hospital-grade power cord is included), There is also a 15-pin female D connector labelled "2115 Keypad J103" and a female 24-contact connector labelled "J102 Connect to Corometrics series 400 monitors only." There are three female headset plugs, one labelled "Headset," one labelled "Remote Mark," and one labelled "ECG (+80dB)." Finally, there is a ground wire plug. There are also three switches on the back labelled "ECG Artifact Elimination" (this switch is fixed permanently in the "Off" position by a metal plate fastened to the back of the unit with screws), "Chart speed" with the positions "1cm/min" and "3cm/min," and "Time/date Set" with the positions "disable" and "enable." There are two fuses, one labelled "1.50 amp slow blow fuse" and the other labelled "spare." Also on the back of the unit is a recess labelled "Leg plate tester", with three metal protrusions from the top of the recess. There is a speaker on the back of the unit. The unit was plugged in and powered on. All lights and LED displays lit up correctly, and it responded to the various controls in appropriate manners - this appears to be a good working unit.
