THIS UNIT IS A REPLACEMENT NEON SIGN TRANSFORMER / POWER SUPPLY FOR A CPI Advanced Model CPI-EZ12 12,000 or CPI-12042. This is a NeonPro Model ME-120-12000-30. It is a suitable replacement for the CPI 12,000 models. This unit will power the same amount of neon as a CPI-EZ12 or CPI-12042. It is rated at 30mA vs. 42mA for the CPI. This means the sign will be very slightly dimmer, but will allow your sign to last longer. CPI states the OUTPUT on the label as Peak voltage. NeonPro states the label OUTPUT as RMS voltage. NeonPro indicates the Peak voltage in the model number. In this case, ME-120-12000-30. Regardless of which term is used, the sign voltage is the same for either unit. PLEASE NOTE: This unit will NOT mount in the same two mounting holes as the CPI. You will need to drill at least one (1) additional hole. This is something that is easy to do. One of the existing holes may be used, but the center to center distance of the mounting holes is different, so another hole is required.
