The pictures tell it all.  This is a really clean 101 with original paint.  Note there is no box of rusted beater parts that are just scrap.  The 4 jaw is an original Craftsman and looks little used.  The countershaft assembly and motor are not set up as I use a 612 Atlas and bought this one because I thought I would need the additional 6 inches for other projects.  The unit was  built probably after 1957 and has Timken roller bearings not sleeve.  The pics show all the accesories that are included.  The gear set is complete including the elusive spacers, lantern tool post and 3 Craftsmen holders left, right and straight that look like new, face plate and dog. The gentlemen I bought it from had a garage full of Craftsman tools and included the calipers in the picture so I am including with it too. The motor is a Dayton ridgid mount split phase 1/3rd hp, 4 pole 1725 rpm induction.  It draws 5.4 amps at full load and the SF (service factor is 1.35 the motor is also thermally protected Class A  105C. Issues:  Nothing major, the motor electrical access plate is missing, a small piece of aluminum sheeting will handle that.  For some reason the drive pulley on the motor is not the right size and it is a single slot instead of the 2 slot.  Easy to change.  It will work but is not right. Ways are clean and crisp.  The lathe is tight no piece of Chinese slop here.  There is an outstanding Yahoo group that I belong to that exchanges info. Sorry I can't pack it for you but if you want, within reason I could get it to a packer/shipper for packing and shipping.
