The saw plate is high carbon steel, has 22 points per inch, is .010" thick with the teeth are set at .001" per side for a .012" kerf — narrow cutting for thin veneers. It cuts on the pull strike. Overall length including handle, is 7 1/2", with an overall height of 1 1/4". Useable blade dimensions are 3" long by 11/16". Spline is solid brass. The Indian rosewood comes from managed forests.
