It also offers multiple communication interfaces, including ethernet, USB, and serial interfaces when connected to a PC. The Cyclone Max is supported by development software from P&E, Freescale, and many other third-party vendors. Cyclone Max is a powerful tool from P&E Microcomputer Systems, INC. that offers flexibility in in-circuit flash programming, debugging, and testing. It can be used on a wide range of processors, including Freescale ColdFire V2/V3/V4, Power MPC5xx/8xx, Qorivva MPC5xxx*, Kinetis ARMВ® processor-based MCUs, DSC (MC56F80xx, MC56F82xx, MC56F83xx, and MC56F84xx), and MAC7xxx ARMВ® processor-based MCUs. To use the Cyclone Max, simply connect it to the target through a BDM header and it is ready for programming, testing, or debugging. The Cyclone Max can also be used in a stand-alone mode, without connection to a PC, through its LCD menu and control buttons.
