Sottof Sales Old Davis & Wells 20" Band Saw in working condition. Frame is one piece cast iron with a one piece aluminum guard. Table top is 26" x 26" and tilts a little over 45 degrees. Has a fence mounting rail but no fence, foot brake. Motor is 1 HP, 3 Phase, 220/208/440V (currently wired 220V) motor RPM is 900, Square D Magnetic starter 19 1/2" W capacity x 9" H although height can be increased to 13 1/2" by modifying the upper blade post guard. Designed for blades 1/8" to 3/4" wide. The height is 79" and 29" deep from the fence rail to back of motor, width is 46" from the switch box to the end of table. Ex school saw (8th grade) that has been sitting around for some years, runs fine but should be lubed, guides adjusted and door hinge adjusted, tires are ok. The cast end cover of the motor is cracked and is designed for a fan on the end but it is missing, this end cover is seperate from the motor and can also be removed completely. Parts are still available for Davis & Wells just do a google search. This saw weighs about 700 lbs. and can be seen under power in Southern California, forklift on site to load suitable vehicle.
