 For auction is a good sized solenoid removed  from a tower site that was used in a tape cartridge machine, it is precision mated and has an adjustable stop to insure the correct position on activation.  This is a DC component that reads 35 ohms and operates at 12 Volts with good pull and hold power but it may also work at 24 V.  The plunger is connected to a small 5" cable assembly to pull on the machine mechanism. This is powerful and would be a great solenoid to use as a engine shutoff, door control, robot or a model engine power source. Part numbers on the part are 280 0003C but does not indicate the manufacturer.
