 Decatur MVR 724 K Band Radar unit   This is a nice super clean Decatur MVR 724 Radar Unit that works great.  These are super hard to come by and are great for your nostalgic police car restoration or general use.   This particular unit is from Florida and therefore has the lock function disabled.  It comes with (1) small K antenna that has great range and accuracy.   These units were desired during their use for the smaller antenna as most radars during this era had very large antennas.    Also included are all the hard to find brackets for mounting as well as a remote for instant on functionality.  Also note the factory applied Decatur Radar label on the antenna that is still in great shape. Once nice feature of this unit is the Patrol speed is displayed in Green and the Target speed is displayed in Red, which helps eliminate any confusion on the speed tracked.   The unit has excellent Doppler tone and the self check circuitry works perfectly.   This radar operates in the K band spectrum and the range is very good.  Speeds are displayed instantaneously when the remote switch is activated, no time to slow down.   It operates in both moving and stationary modes.   Please refer to the photos, the radar is used and in good cosmetic shape with normal wear and tear for a unit of this age.    It has been serviced, thoroughly checked, and passes all road and internal tests.   It is ready to operate out of the box.   ** I will include a 35 and 65 MPH tuning fork to the winning bidder*** This auction includes a Decatur MVR 724 K radar and the following: (1) Short K band antenna with great range and accuracy (1) Remote for instant on functionality (1)  Rare Decatur exclusive mounting bracket specifically for the MVR 724   Please feel free to ask any questions, unit will be shipped promptly after auction ends
