The DW9116 is extremely versatile and allows you to either use the quick charge mode to charge your batteries in 1 hour, or to take advantage of its integrated tune-up mode. When left in the charger overnight, this feature refreshes older batteries to insure longer battery life. At the completion of the refresh cycle, it automatically converts to a trickle charge so you'll never damage a battery by leaving it in the charger too long. LED indicators give you the battery status at a glance and indicate whether your battery is charging, charged or if there's a problem with the power supply. The internal diagnostics tool will even tell you if the battery is too hot or too cold or if it needs to be replaced!
