Dieter Rams Universal 606 aluminum wall shelving system, originally designed in 1960, and purchased through De Padova in Italy (they are currently available in the US through Suite NY in Manhattan, and VITSOE in variation in colors and finishes). These are located in an office in midtown Manhattan and need to be disassembled and removed from the location by the buyer. I cannot ship these or remove them for you. There is a freight elevator in the building on 59th Street that will allow you access.  There are 2 sets, both shown in the images:  1. 71" length across wall--shown in images with 2 shelves over fold away file cabinets (67-1/4" tall vertical support bar) 2. 88" length across wall--shown with 3 shelves over lower fold away file cabinets (63-1/4" vertical support bar) Unit # 1 (71") includes (4)-26" X 9-1/2" depth shelves; (2)-35-1/2" X 9-1/2" shelves; (3) lower units, 2 @ 26" length; 1 @ 35-1/2" length X 15" depth X 15-1/2" height); (2) - 63-1/4" length vertical support bars Unit #2 (88") includes (6) - 26" X 9-1/2" depth shelves (top 2 rows across); (2) - 35-1/2" X 9-1/2" depth shelves (top 2 rows across); (2) - 26" X 15" depth shelves (third row of shelves from top); (1) - 35-1/2" X 15" depth shelf; (2) - 26" X 15" depth fold-away garage door style file cabinets; (1) - 26" X 15" depth 3-drawer unit; (2) - 63-14" length vertical support bars Dieter Rams designed these in 1960, and they have been updated in lightweight aluminum. The NYT heralded the De Padova reissue in 2012 (available through Suite NY. com.  "With its unobtrusive, pared-down silhouette, the 606 Shelving System exemplified the German industrial designer Dieter Rams’s less-is-more aesthetic when it was introduced in 1960. Its latest incarnation is aesthetically true to the original, but stronger and lighter, because it’s made of anodized extruded aluminum (the original was steel). Produced by the Italian company De Padova, it comes in a natural finish, pictured, and powder-coated white. It can be freestanding or wall-mounted, and options include a new floating desk; flat or inclined shelving; storage cabinets with retractable doors; and multiple-drawer units. Depending on the configuration, it could function as a home office, a wardrobe, a media center or a wet bar. Modules range in price from $400 for a small two-shelf unit to $2,282 for a three-drawer unit." -- March 7, 2012 Modern and practical, these are a great storage solution for a mid century modern designed home or office, or for a modern executive suite, or for a retail shop where you ant to make an industrial statement. If you are a decorator you know this iconic design, and also know how costly they can be (this set up cost around $13,000 a few years ago; the current price is around 18-20K)---and how long they take to order (months). This is an amazing opportunity for an interior designer who is crafting an executive office, or for a homeowner looking to add a timeless and classic shelving system to their home at a fraction of the current cost of ordering and having them shipped from Italy.  I will take best offers, but no low ball offers please (under 7,500 won't get responses). These are pickup only, and you must be able to remove them from the walls---the removal is very easy, just some anchored screws on the vertical standards. Please contact me in advance of purchase to arrange for a time to come (they need to be removed by the middle of May in NYC at 59th Street and 5th Avenue). I can oversee the removal but you must come prepared with tools and the ability to remove them on a dolly or cart in a freight elevator (the elevator needs to be arranged so the sooner we plan it the better).  You can research the style and design at suiteny dot com and see the options that you can add on to this unit for a larger or more customized layout.  Contact me for more information. And please be able to remove (from walls) and remove (from building with your own labor).  Keywords: Office Renovation Mid-Century Modern Designer Office Furniture Eames Era 1960s Design Dieter Rams Industrial Design
