There horizontal saw saws through a piece of 4140 preheat treated in about three minutes. How accurate is the sawing, you ask. Well, the horizontal scissor saw, has to be sawed accurate because if it's .003 too long, or vice a versa to short, what happens when it sought in half, the piece on the upper side will be .003 , plus whatever is off that the saw creates. Notice, they are all modes did accurate and are within .0015 of each other. And while you're at it, please take note of the finish that and air feed table produces, not to mention the absolute accuracy.
