Superb find at a local auction. This is for a used BG 174 A rescue Dragerwerk AG "3 hour self contained breathing apparatus". It appears complete as shown. The heavy air tank is EMPTY & has gauge to show how capacity. Also has another gauge attached to harness so you can see for yourself how much air is left, and another on the side. Plenty of stainless steel looking pieces and parts on either side as shown. Photo shows some parts safety wired and still sealed with lead seal. Also has a rubber? breathing 'lung' bag? which appears to be ok. I can see no tears or rips. Fiberglass or plastic "Turtle shell cover" has light scratches and reflective color tape. Mask lens have few if any light scratch marks and other hoses appears ok as well, with plastic screw in plugs present. Has a small bag which includes tools you may need to set up the set? and a small bottle of oil? Overall a nice set for your collection. It will be shipped as is in blue box and taped shut with NO extra boxing. IT IS HEAVY. It weighs 51 pounds. It is approx. 15 x 18 x 6. Case is approx. 25 x 17 x 9. Does it work?? I DO NOT KNOW, nor do I have a way to test it. But it does appear complete to me. Because of the weight it is sold 'as is' with NO returns. If you require more photos, Please ask and I can send more.
