. The Alpha X structural firefighting glove by Dragon Fire Gloves is the ultimate in protective gear for firefighters. Certified by SEI to the latest NFPA 1971 standard, this glove features a full natural leather outer shell made of premium Italian top grain cow and swine hide. No fabric is utilized on the outer shell, ensuring unparalleled wet grip strength. The glove also features strategic wear and grip pads on the fingertips and thumb, providing excellent cut, rip, and abrasion resistance. The overall anatomically correct ergonomic design ensures extreme dexterity with no sacrifice of protection. Invest in the Dragon Fire Gloves Alpha X fire glove for the ultimate in protection and peace of mind while on the job. The Alpha X glove also features a thermal urethane vapor barrier, a proprietary formulation specifically designed for the fire service. The robotic welded seams (not glued) ensure a 350% elongation prior to burst (memory free performance), and the degradation (melt point) is well above NFPA requirements. The superior liquid penetration resistance and multiple sizes available make this glove a must-have for any firefighter. The Kovenex Thermal Liner is a revolutionary fabric made from a special patented blend of high-performance fibers. It provides added protection and thermal insulation to the Alpha X glove, making it an essential piece of gear for any firefighter. The Alpha X glove has some unique features that are unmatched by other gloves on the market. It refuses to harden or stiffen and remains soft and pliable even after repeated use. The glove also conforms and takes on the unique hand signature of the user after repeated use. Additionally, the hand is effortlessly able to be inserted and removed when the glove and/or hand is wet or sweaty. The liner remains intact (no pullout) and is guaranteed. The critical palm and back of hand (greater knuckle region) have the highest obtainable certification, with a TPP rating of greater than 60.
