Drinking Water System includes a one-year limited warranty for defects in materials and workmanship, excluding disposable filters and membrane. Assembly is required, and the package includes a Big Blue filter wrench and Dual Big Blue bracket. The housing is suitable for high flow applications and has a buttress thread design for superior security. The thick side walls and heavy-duty ribs provide greater strength, and it is temperature rated to 125В°F (52В°C). The cap, sump, and top-seated O-rings compress to provide leak-proof sealing. The DUAL BIG BLUE water filter housing is a high-quality product designed for large capacity filtration. With a 4.5" X 20" size and 1" NPT, it offers a pressure release feature and is made from FDA grade 100% polypropylene. The thick wall and added ribs make it ideal for various applications, and the polypropylene construction provides excellent chemical resistance. The package includes two cartridges for filtration - one sediment filter and one activated carbon block water filter cartridge. The sediment filter cartridge is made from high-grade polypropylene and contains no wetting agents, solvents, antistatic agents, or binders. It has a low-density surface layer for high dirt-holding capability and a higher density inner layer to stop small particles. The activated carbon block water filter cartridge is designed to reduce chlorine taste and odor in water. It is made from 100% coconut shell carbon, offers high chlorine reduction, and has a recommended flow of up to 8GPM. It is certified and tested under NSF/ANSI Standard 42.
