Dumore series 57 Tool Post grinder for 9" to 20" swing lathes.Model 8526 3/4 HP universal motor, which can run on DC or AC up to 120V. Motor armature and stator are wound so motor will always spin the same direction, independent of the polarity of the applied voltage. (I have tried 24V DC and 120V AC) This 15,000 RPM motor, with large and small pulleys, can turn the spindle from 4600 RPM to 42,500 RPM. Complete working system in very good condition that has seen very little use. Good information can be found on the Dumore factory web site, including an electronic copy of a modern Operating Instructions, which is still useful for this older system. Notes on this grinding system: The spindle/quill is a 5X-350-0064, with a 1/2" grind wheel drive shaft, with excellent condition sealed bearings. A complete set of new Dumore grind wheels (4", 5", 6") is included. I've bench run the system for about and hour, with no issues. High quality copy of owners manual included, printed on heavy weight paper and spiral bound. Factory Dumore tools and three extra motor filters are included. There are two storage box options: Large 16" x 16" x 14" or small 16" x 11" x 10" First and last pictures show the small box. Next to last pictures are the large box. If you make an offer, please indicate which box you want. I'll assume the large box if you don't say anything. Shipping by FedEx ground. $50 covers most locations in the USA. If you make a full price offer, I'll pay shipping in the continental USA. If you are closer and shipping costs less, I'll refund the difference.
