DETAILED READING ON AUCTION POLICY INFORMATION : *********************************************************** ********************************************************************* 1) Shipping Carriers : Shipping carriers are chosen at our sole discretion for several reasons and designed to benefit our customers, even if the auction has one already listed in the shipping calculator, if applicable, we will make the final decision on the carrier used. If the amount is a fixed amount written by us, and is incorrect and insufficient, we will honor that amount as we should and pay the difference ourselves. If a customer has paid for insurance through a specific carrier, we will always ensure that their parcel is insured for the value they have paid for regardless of carrier. Unless the customer has specific needs and contacts us with such information before payment, the above applies. Notices after a payment has been made do not guarantee we will see the note in time nor guarantee the shipping carrier will be the same as stated on the auction. All auctions will either have an automated shipping calculator to show costs, or auctions of other or larger sized parcels may have a rate established and posted, or further instructions specifically noted. Either way, every customer will be aware of shipping costs before they purchase or send payment of any kind. Multiple auctions purchased may or may not have an effect on carrier chosen. 2) Canadian & International shipping : Please inquire for rates. (see Combined Shipping section #4 below ) Insurance coverage is mandatory on all international shipping. 3) Insurance & Signature requirements : Mailing insurance coverage is mandatory for both domestic and international packages. Each auction will be noted appropriately. Insured parcels are covered by the mail carrier service themselves, not us. We will arrange the necessary articles of claim forms in our customers behalf as we should. If we feel that a claim will be honored easily, if possible, we may, but do not guarantee we will, as a courtesy help our customer by issuing them a replacement order, without any additional product costs, so as to not delay their particular needs, while we await reimbursement for the parcel in question by the mail carrier. If the claim should not be reimbursed, even though we sent our customer a free replacement item, or refund of any kind, the customer agrees to be responsible for the additional cost of the order sent and it's shipping costs, and all recorded proof of carrier's settlement shall be sent to them as well. If on the other hand, we or the carrier service, from the beginning, feel there will be some amount of difficulty with reimbursement with the original claim, then the customer will have to wait for the results found by the carrier in question, before receiving any replacement or refund of any kind. Please read the details pertaining to the particular auction sale policy. We use USPS and FED EX services at our discretion. These different carriers have different policies and costs involved with certain packages. We determine which is best suited for our customers and their particular needs. If the customer has a special request of service carrier, we are more than happy to oblige to discuss the options. This must be done before payment is sent, not after. (see section #9) As for insurance costs, USPS service offers domestic insurance as an additional option basically $1.75 for $50.00 worth of value presently. International rates vary upon destination. The automated shipping calculator on each auction page should have this information. All prices are subject to change at any time without any notice and we have no control on these costs. FED EX includes insurance within their stated costs, but they do not ship to P.O. Boxes. This is one of the several reasons why we choose certain carriers for certain needs best suited for our customers. USPS insurance requires a person to sign for the package at the address sent to. If there is no one to sign, they will not leave the parcel at the door, but rather leave a pink slip notice stating that you had a package arrive requiring a signature, and it will instruct you what options you have. 3-A) Claims : Copied from the USPS web site ; If the mailer files the claim, the St. Louis ASC will notify the addressee by letter to present the damaged article and mailing container to the USPS for inspection, including any wrapping, packaging, and any other contents that were received. Failure to do so will result in denial of the claim. 3-B) Costs : USPS is $1.75 for the first $50.00 of value and a signature is required to receive a package. For up to $100.00 of insured coverage, it is $2.25. Costs increase from there. International is higher, and will be in the shipping calculator on the auction page. FED EX insurance is included with shipping costs up to $100.00 of value and NO signature is required. Signature verification with FED EX can be purchased as an option for $2.50. Both companies have their pro's and con's and we do our best to arrange the optimum choice for each customers particular order. Any of these insurance or signature cost options can be manually input by any customer on their invoice, and if not, contact us before making any payment. Please make a notation on the invoice of your options chosen for eBay is still behind in some clear customer options within their forms, and we may not see the request. Any questions feel free to ask our help before filling out any invoice or sending payment. All prices are subject to change at any time without any notice and we have no control on these costs. 4) Combined shipping : We are more than happy to combine shipping where we possibly can. Not all items are available for combined shipping. See auction general description details if it is possible for that particular auctions item. Auction winnings cannot be canceled if buyer disagrees with our decision on combined shipping, unless we jointly agree. Again, inquire before you buy. 5) Shipping tracking & turn around time : Most orders usually ship out within 48 hours of payment clearing, if not less, during the business week Monday thru Friday. We may be in the middle of receiving and organizing fresh inventory and there may be a small delay in shipping new orders. This is a normal part of doing business as is anywhere else. If there should be what we feel as an extended amount of time in order to create a customers shipment, we will inform them of so. As for carrier shipping times, they vary on destination of course, type of service, and average one to two days in California, three days to the central states and up to four or five to the Eastern United States. All are approximate times of course for many reasons as mentioned, including but not limited to type of service purchased. Online tracking is provided with each parcel, and we will email you that information when we ship the parcel. If shipping arrival time frame is a concern, please inquire before purchasing. 6) Packing : All of our packages are created securely and if required will be with either bubble air cushioned wrap, paper, cardboard bracing, or styro peanuts to ensure proper cushioning for travel through any carrier service. We have run public shipping and packaging stores for years including foam injected freight with every major and minor carrier, so shipping alone, is a business for us. 7) Returns : All sales are final and there are no returns unless we sent the wrong shipment, or we failed grossly in representation of said item. If a return is validated by us, options will be discussed and those options may or may not include returning the entire or partial amount of item, shipping charges paid to us, and or return shipping charges. If any other item is sent, and damaged, please see "insurance" in sections 3, 3A, and 3B above. As with CGC certified graded books there are no surprises, and no returns regardless for you will know exactly what your bidding on due to the certification. 8) Feedback Policy : Sales transactions are not complete until the entire process is completed. We will then be more than happy to track and locate any missing parcel and determine it's location through the shipper that was hired.
