DuPont Tychem CPF 2 Taped Hooded Coverall C Grey Chemical Nuclear Hazmat Suit 1X Attached hood, front zipper closure, storm flap, elastic wrists attached sock boots, outer boot flaps. Tychem® CPF 2 is Saranex® 23-P film laminated to a tough, 1.5 oz. Polypropylene fabric. Uses include PCB clean-up, waste management, hazardous response & nuclear environments. Rugged & durable, even in environments where abrasion is an issue. Tychem® CPF2 is grey for discretionary protection. Effective protection against a range of chemicals. Style: C2159T Garment Description and Features Coverall with zipper front, attached hood with elastic around face. Elastic at wrists. Attached sock boots with splash guards. (Sock boots to be worn inside regular work boots.) Set sleeve pattern for greater arm movement. Taped seams. Fabric Description Tychem® CPF 2 - Made of a co-extruded barrier film laminated to a tough 1.5 oz/yd 2 polypropylene substrate. Greater tear resistance and chemical holdout than comparable garments. Garments provide protection against a wide variety of chemicals in light to moderate splash situations and where rip-out is a concern. Color: Neutral Gray Seam Type Taped -Both sewn and taped to provide strong chemical resistance against heavy liquid splashes and tough seam stress. A sewn seam is covered with a strip of compatible material by heat-sealing. Specifications 1. The chemical suit shall be constructed from a multiple layer film based composite material laminated to a strong 1.5 oz/yd 2 polypropylene substrate fabric. 2. All seams in the suit shall be stitched with polyester thread and covered with heat sealed tape on the outside of the suit. 3. The tape used to cover the seams shall be a film composite with equal to or greater chemical resistance than the base fabric. 4. The zipper shall be constructed of 100%polyester and shall be covered by a storm flap made of the base fabric. 5. The suit shall be constructed in a coverall design with elastic at wrists and around attached hood, garment shall also have attached sock boots with splash guards. 6.
