DynaVox Maestro Augmentative Communication Device *Comes with Series 5 with InterAACT CD version 1.07.2 *Great for ALS, Autism, and Stroke Patients. Our son was born with meningitis group B strep and has bi-frontal brain damage. He can hear, but can not speak. We have learned American Sign Language and our son no longer wants to use the device. It was a true lifesaver for him when he attended school. The device can be programmed to an individual's specific needs and wants. We would love for the device to go to someone who can really use the device so they are able to have a form of great communication. The original cost of the device was $8025.00. “The DynaVox Maestro is in perfect working order. For some reason, unbeknownst to us, out son had put duct tape on the back of the device. The duct tape is off now, but there is residue from the duct tape. We are working diligently to remove the residue. This device was used by our special needs son who can hear, but can not speak. He has learned American Sign Language and no longer wants to use the Dynavox Maestro. This is an awesome device for those who need an outlet for communication.”
