To start the engine, gas is first placed in the fuel bowl, and then it is gradually shifted over to kerosene as it is pumped from the fuel tank on the machine's base. Some cleaning and fuel replacement may be necessary due to its old and gunky fuel. The commutator is in excellent condition, and the brush set has been overhauled. This unit is available for pick-up only in beautiful Lancaster County, PA. It is currently on a set of rollers, which the buyer can have if they wish. Please feel free to ask any questions or request specific photo shots. Thank you! This generator is in very good condition, with only some surface rust present due to long periods of being in storage. This unit comes with a complete instruction book from the manufacturer (reprint) and an IH tank type muffler (not shown). With a little tinkering, this generator could be put back into working condition. The Western Electric 32VT DC Generator with Fuller Johnson Motor is a power and light set that boasts a massive 40 volt output and 35 to 40 amps.
