This is a Amazon return with very slight scratches on the edge. These are surface scratches and not dents in the metal. Otherwise it is brand new and unused. It does not come in original packaging. See pics. Easy Wood Tools (EWT) faceplates are designed to be screwed to bowl blanks to hold them securely while turning on the lathe. EWT faceplates are made from anodized aluminum and precision CNC machined. EWT faceplates are drilled have 8 large screw holes for secure mounting. One the side is a 5/16” spanner hole for breaking the faceplate free. All but the smallest size (2” diameter), have 2 set screws on the side of the large threads to secure the piece when the lather is operated in the reverse direction while sanding. EWT faceplates have a low profile to allow work to stay close to the headstock and the soft aluminum will not damage tools when accidently struck. All sized of faceplates are laser engraves for easy identification. EWT aluminum faceplates are preferred when turning green wood as they will never rust or oxidize. .__________________________________________________________________________ My E-Bay philosophy is simple, you are the customer and you decide how you want to handle the deal.
