Eaton Weatherhead 302X4 Brass CA360 Inverted Flare Brass Fitting, Union, 1/4" Tube OD Features Joins two 1/4" inverted flare male tube nuts Brass for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability Compression fitting for a tight seal on rigid tubing UL Listed for quality control Product Description This Eaton Weatherhead 302X4 brass female inverted flare union joins two tube nuts for 1/4" outside diameter (OD) rigid tubing. The female inverted flare ends have 7/16-24 National Pipe Straight Mechanical (NPSM) threads and create compression seals. The union has a working pressure of up to 2,000 pounds per square inch (psi). The fitting is made of CA360 brass for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability. This union fitting is UL Listed (Underwriters Laboratories) for quality control and is suitable for use in hydraulic applications such as brake lines and power steering lines. Tube fittings are components used for connecting, branching, terminating, and changing the direction of tubing in pneumatic and hydraulic systems. They are made of brass, stainless steel, polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), and other materials that resist corrosion and wear.
