The incubator is made for 220v and in that price is included voltage converter. It is made in Europe and has 2 years waranty. I test all incubators here before shipping. "CLEO" is intended to be used in small farms, for incubating the eggs coming from poultry. It is designed on the principle of surface incubator, the eggs being arranged in a single layer. The case, made out of thermo insulating plastic material, ensures a proper uniformity of the inside temperature. The heating is provided by an electric resistance. The homogeneity of the air in the interior is done by an electrical motor with propeller. The temperature control is provided by an electronic circuit. Several holes in the cases provide a slow, continuous refreshing of the inside atmosphere, removing the excess of carbon dioxide and noxious vapors during the incubation. HUMIDITY is provided by filling with water the two alveoli (channels) A and B of the inferior half-case of the incubator (see figure 1 and 1.a). An increased humidity is recommended in the first incubation week (when the water loss of the eggs must be prevented) and during the last two days (for helping the chick to peel off from the egg membranes). For the rest of the incubation period, the humidity should be normal in order to help the exhaust of noxious substances. TEMPERATURE is the main parameter on which the incubation depends. Egg overheating results in malformations, weak chickens, or even dead embryos. A too low temperature, results in a slowing down of embryo growth and delayed hatching. EGG TURNING is needed for obtaining a more uniform temperature and humidity level on the whole surface of the egg and for avoiding the embryo sticking onto the shell. 2.0 TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS 2.1.
