This unit is valuable for fume hoods or remote working and is available at a reduced price of $865.00 (USD) from its original price of $2500.00 (USD). The CMU Uncontrolled Electromantles are CE and CSA approved for 115V models and come with non-skid feet and support clamps, but not including support rods. Please note that the MC-5 Controller is necessary to operate the CMU Uncontrolled Electromantles for remote working. This heating mantle can withstand high temperatures up to 450В°C and has a replaceable insulated heater cartridge. This heating mantle must be used with a controller, and recommended controllers are MC5 and MC242, which are not included. The unit includes safety features such as a grounded earth stainless steel screen covering the heating element and double fuses. The Electrothermal CMU Uncontrolled Electromantle Heating Mantle CMU12/LX1 is ideal for wet chemistry applications that require heating liquids in 12 L round bottom flasks. It features a "cool-to-touch" outer casing and is designed to minimize the risk of flask breakage with flexible coiled heating elements.
