The idea is that pliers are used to crimp this key on to the tip of your shoe/boot lace. Cover with the included rubber sleeve and for all intents and purposes it disappears. Install keys on all your favorite lace up shoes and boots and forget about them. Depending on the situation these could range from handy to life saving.
