The apparatus comes with a pressure gauge fitted to the reducing valve to ensure constant pressure. The contents are ready for immediate use in case of emergency situations, and the apparatus has never been used before. The air then flows through a control orifice and via a flexible supply hose to the hood. ELSA comes with a complete booklet that provides all the required operating instructions and parts information. ELSA is a specialized emergency equipment designed for respiratory protection during ESCAPE situations. It contains a 7 cu ft aluminum cylinder that can hold air up to 2216 psig, capable of providing compressed breathing air for up to 5 minutes. It comes in a package that includes a bag measuring 12" across with a gauge and a height of 6". It also features an on/off handwheel that allows air to pass from the pressurized cylinder to the reducing valve, where it is reduced to around 80 psi.
