EmonWRT - Energy Monitor via WIFI Emoncms compatible Energy monitoring in one single box. The EmonWRT measures energy usage from an installation and transmit it over the internet. Usage can be seen real time from a web browser. It uses current transformers to measure electrical usage and connects to your home router via Wifi. Both Emoncms and Thingspeak servers are supported. See more info on the wiki page here. Connects to a home router with WIFI. View you data online on emoncms.org or thingspeak (or your own server) Connect 3 Current sensors - 1 Temperature. Self contained wall mountable plastic box. Easy configuration from web browser. EmonWRT is made of a WR703N Wifi router with an Emontx v2.2. Firmware can be re-programmed using Arduino IDE. Open source components. Uses OpenWRT operating system. Sold with default firmware to output CT1 CT2 CT3 and Temperature. Recommended Temperature sensor: DS18B20. Recommended CT sensor: SCT-013-000 (burden resistor 18Ω). Dimensions 70x62x35mm Package contains - 1 EmonWRT Unit. - 1 Power adaptor (one of UK/EU/US). - 1 Micro USB cable. - 1 Ethernet Cable. Current and temperature sensors as shown on picture below can also be included if requested. Please enquire for a quote. See the Setup Guide here. Connecting the EmonWRT is done as follow: 1/ Create your account on Emoncms.org 2/ Plug a computer with an ethernet cable to the EmonWRT. 3/ Configure the APi settings (from emoncms) and wifi network. 4/ Place the EmonWRT on your installation. 5/ View your data online. RF module The unit can sold with a 868Mhz RFM12B module. This will enable the EmonWRT to forward any RF data to the server. Thus making the EMonWRT a RF gateway to EmonCMS. Please enquire for a quote. Emoncms is an energy monitoring server that allows to record data and view them on nice custom graphs. It can either be used from the online website emoncms.org or can be installed on your own server. By default the unit is sold showing CT1 CT2 CT3 and Temperature. Additional channels can be added on request or programming the EmonTx.
