The Enerpac PAMG-1402N Turbo II two-speed hydraulic air pump is for lifting, bolting, or applying pressure with a hydraulic cylinder (sold separately) in plant maintenance, fabrication, production, bolting, vehicle repair, and other applications where compressed air is the preferred power source. It has a four-way control valve for advancing, retracting, and holding a double-acting cylinder. It has an inlet air-pressure range of 25 to 125 psi and can start at low pressure. This two-speed pump requires fewer cycles to move a load than a similarly rated single-speed pump, increasing productivity. The pump is controlled by a treadle that can be locked for continuous operation. An internal pressure relief valve helps protect the pump from overload. The cast aluminum air motor resists corrosion and wear, and the motor and one-piece piston are designed to minimize air consumption. The motor assembly is fully serviceable, and the reinforced reservoir can withstand harsh conditions. The pump has a return-to-tank port for remote valve applications. The pump has 3/8" and 1/4" National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads ports for connecting to an air supply or attaching a hose or gauge (sold separately). Specifications Maximum operating pressure, at 85 psi inlet pressure 10,000 pounds per square inch (psi) Maximum output flow rate, per minute, at 100 psi 60 cubic inches Maximum output flow rate, per minute, at 10,000 psi 10 cubic inches Usable oil capacity 127 cubic inches Inlet air-pressure range 25 to 125 psi Air consumption, at 100 psi 12 standard cubic feet per minute (scfm) Hydraulic air ratio 100:1 Maximum operating noise level 76 decibels (A) Valve type 4-way manual Weight 24 lb. Dimensions 10.50 x 6.49 x 12.60 inches (H x W x D) H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from back to front. Hydraulic pumps lift, bolt, or apply pressure to objects by pressurizing and moving hydraulic fluid. A hydraulic pump consists of a base, a reservoir that holds hydraulic fluid, and an operating mechanism, such as a handle or foot pedal, an electric motor, compressed air, or a gasoline engine. When the operating mechanism is activated, pressurized hydraulic fluid from the reservoir is delivered through an attached hose to a hydraulic cylinder. The pressurized hydraulic fluid in the cylinder lifts the cylinder?s piston, which in turn lifts the load. Hydraulic hand pumps are usually made of steel, or aluminum and nylon, and can be single-speed or two-speed. They are used in a wide range of applications, such as construction, manufacturing, and maintenance and repair applications in both industrial and home settings. Enerpac manufactures industrial hydraulic equipment for lifting, workholding, and other applications, and provides integrated lifting solutions for bridge construction, mining, shipbuilding, and other industries. The company, founded in 1959, is headquartered in Menominee Falls, WI.
