 You are viewing a Enterprise 4 Quart #25 Sausage Stuffer Fruit/Lard Press. I have done a good many of these sausage stuffers and have done light research on them and I have come to believe that this sausage stuffer is one of the first ones that were made in several different styles. If you look in the pictures there is a locking devise that is supposed to be on the back but this one was made without one. During their R&D while making these presses they added on a locking lever to keep the arch from swinging open. Working on some of the other ones that I have done in the past there were some casting markings on separate pieces that disassemble, this one has none except for an X that is marked on the bottom of the bucket. From the ones that I have seen there are different types of art work and lettering and labels put on the bucket, I did take a picture of the original lettering font style from that time period. I believe that the decals were put on later presses. I was able to find the period correct lettering fonts for this and reproduced it as close as possible. After looking at the others I have done in the past I never noticed any art work to be the same and they were done with stencil on an assembly line.
