Designed for the lamination of glass, carbon, or Kevlar. Gel Time: 30 Minutes @ 77F, 1/2 Pint Mass; Cure: 24-48 Hours. Shore D Hardness: 78 to 80. Tensile Lap Shear: more than 2600 PSI., .5 " overlap on etched aluminum. U300LV PROVIDES easy wet out, moderate pot life, and a good adhesion to a wide variety of other common materials including wood, glass, metals, cured fiberglass composites, and most other plastics. The material cures to a hard, light colored plastic with good physical properties, and excellent resistance to water, chemicals, and solvents. This material may lightly blush in thin films or in high humidity. CURE TIME FOR THIS MATERIAL may be accelerated by mild heat up to 150 F. As with all adhesive compounds, proper surface preparation is essential for good bond strength. Additional recoating of this material should be accomplished before the material is thoroughly cured, generally less than 24 hours. If the material has cured hard or blushed, a light sanding and solvent wash may be necessary before re-coating. THIS MATERIAL IS FOR PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY, using adequate ventilation and protection from eye and skin exposure. Any information supplied with this material is given in good faith but should be verified by the end user, as is the suitability of the material for their application. The warranty of this material shall be limited to the replacement of defective material. IN EPOXIES, PARTS A & B CHEMICALLY BOND on a molecular level turning a liquid into a solid. This makes mixing thoroughly, imperative. Do not use a power mixer which will insert air, but, mix with a stick for about three minutes. Pour into a second container to eliminate unmixed material stuck to the sides. To polymerize 100%, thorough mixing places part A molecules next to part B molecule for bonding. However, this return right only applies if (i) the product has not been used or tampered with and is otherwise suitable for re-sale, and (ii)Buyer obtained prior written authorization from a duly authorized representative of Fiberglass Coatings to make a return. (a) Restocking Charge. If the product is returned within the fourteen day period, then Fiberglass Coatings will give the buyer a credit equal to 75% of the purchase price (i.e. there will be a 25% re-stocking charge). However, this restocking charge only applies to the particular line item returned and not to the entire invoice. (b) Miscellaneous. Fiberglass Coatings will not issue any credit to buyer after the fourteen day period. Buyer must pay all taxes and other charges related to returned items.
