This is a very nice high end LCD projector. The retail price for the Epson PowerLite 7700p when it was sold new was $8,299. At a Buy It Now price of $1,175 we think this is a tremendous bargain! This projector was obtained through government surplus and has a brand new lamp with 0 hours on it. According to Epson specifications the lamp should last about 1500 hours. However, we do not guaranty the life of the lamp. The projector is sold "as-is" and has our 14-day money back guaranty. We will refund your money if the unit is not as pictured or described. (Please read the complete 14-day guaranty listed below). The projector is used, and does have cosmetic blemishes that do not affect the normal operation of the item. After the projector fully warms up the unit works flawlessly. We have been using this unit in our office as a test, and it has worked great. According to the User's Manual, the manual demonstrates that the unit can display, or "throw", an image up to 47 feet away. At a 47 foot throw the User's Manual indicates the display image will be approximately 25 feet diagonally. The further the projector is away from the displayed image the larger the image will be. We do not know what the maximum throw distance is before the image will begin to lose resolution quality. The projector can be used in three different viewing setups: front projection, ceiling mount and rear projection. You can connect your computer, a VCR, a DVD player, camcorder, laser disc, digital camera or any other compatible video source to the projector. The projector supports HDTV, NTSC, PAL, and SECAM, and automatically detects the video format. The projector can receive composite video, S-Video, and component video. You can connect the projector to one or more of these video sources at the same time. The unit is shipped with a power cord, computer video cable and a printed Epson User's Manual. You will need to purchase through a supplier of your choice any of the other cables used for the additional input options. The unit does not have a remote control.
