Everpure's unique filter blend using activated carbon significantly reduces chlorine taste and odor, as well as other offensive contaminants. The self-contained scale inhibitor feed dramatically prevents limescale from forming in brewing equipment, thereby saving energy. Additionally, the Precoat submicron technology reduces dirt and particles as small as 1/2 micron in size, while reducing health contaminants such as asbestos fibers and Cryptosporidium and Giardia cysts. The EV9613-21 Everpure MH(2) Filter Cartridge is specially designed for coffee applications. It delivers premium quality water to provide consistently great tasting coffee and beverages. The filter cartridge features new and improved Micro-Pure II media with AgION™ antimicrobial protection that inhibits any potential bacterial growth, ensuring clear, fresh, and high-quality ingredient water. The cartridge replacement process is simple, quick, and clean, and the internal filter parts are never exposed to handling or contamination. The filter is NSF Certified under NSF/ANSI Standards 42 and 53 for Scale Reduction/Control. The EV9613-21 Everpure MH(2) Filter Cartridge has a bacteriostatic property and reduces chlorine, cysts, scale, taste, and odor for a capacity of 9,000 gallons. It has a maximum flow of 1.67 gpm (6.3 Lpm), a micron rating of 0.50, and a working pressure of 10 - 125 psi (0.7 - 8.6 bar), non-shock. The filter cartridge has a maximum temperature of 35 - 100°F (2 - 38°C), and its dimensions are H: 20.75” D: 3.25”. It is certified to meet NSF42 and NSF53 standards.
