I asked him to run this through the paces for me. I have a newer vehicle and I wanted to be sure that if function properly. When he returned it he assured me that it met all expectations. He said heavy use will obviously drain the power cell faster, but it will last through multiple jobs. Charging after each use is probably the best way to keep it ready for the big jobs.I have not needed it yet, but, low & behold, I saw my neighbor with a tire pump to fill his car tire. I told him to wait! Went to the car and got my EVERSTART Jump Starter! I set the pressure gauge and filled the tire. So, even if you have a good vehicle. . .This is good to have on hand! Life saver + Money saver 30 Dec 69 All in one jump starter, compressor, power bank. Modern look, LCD display, easy controls and USB charging ports. Convenient handle, not too heavy. Compact, won't take much space in a car trunk or truck tool box. Pays for itself the first time calling roadside assistance for a jump is not necessary. Note that the unit is designed to be charged with an extension cord that is not included. use everstart 750 - keep going in a pinch 30 Dec 69 EVERSTART 750 Amp Jump Starter w/120 PSI Digital Compressor, Heavy Duty Clamps w/Reverse Polarity AlarmThe Everstart 750 Amp Jump Starter is a roadside device designed to help the user get the car started in an emergency and to inflate a tire with low air. I was excited to get this item to review. It is so handy to have a device like this in the car for such situations. The features of this unit include 750 amp peak charge current for a dead battery; 120 psi digital air compressor with auto stop feature; 2 USB high-output (3.1 amp) charging ports; and warning alarm for reverse polarity when connected to a battery. The control panel features a meter that displays charge voltage, PSI pressure, USB connectivity, controls to adjust pressure, and a switch for the bright LED panel light. Totally cool! Before testing the unit I plugged it into 120vac receptacle to charge the battery. Only a few minutes were required for this. The digital display showed the charging status and the charge voltage of the battery.I tested the 120 psi digital air compressor on the rear tire of the lawn mower. The tire goes flat over the course of a month and has not yet been repaired. The air compressor inflated this tire in about 2 minutes! It was so nice to see that tire fill with air like that.Since the car was in use, I decided to test the jump starter on the lawn mower. After disconnecting the battery I used the jump starter to start the mower. This is amazing that this small, portable device can inflate tires and jump start an engine!I next tested the USB charge on a wifi media keyboard mouse. It begins charging USB devices after pressing the button.I like this handy useful item. A lot! It can be very helpful and handy.I recommend this product and give it ***** (5) stars. I wasn't able to jump my car with this 30 Dec 69 I'm not a car guy, but I've jumped cars before, and it's pretty straightforward. I've also used a cool battery that has jumper cables attached to it that makes jumping cars really easy to do, so this product experience is being measured against that expectation, because it should be easy and simple. This jump starter, is not easy at all to use, and I couldn't get it to jump start my car. It looks like something designed by traditional car guys, for traditional car guys. I think the idea for this product is good- you want to have something portable that you can inflate tires and jump start your car with. I haven't tried inflating tires yet (but I will), but the jumping the car part absolutely did not work. I followed all the instructions- charged the unit, connected the red to positive and black to the negative terminals, turned on the dial, and it went exactly as the directions indicated. No matter what I did, it would not start my car. I had to use my other battery/starter device, which worked like a charm. The car wasn't the problem here, definitely was this product.I dont particularly like the design of this product. There are five identical looking buttons- one center button marked On for the Air, one +, one - to either side to change air pressure. Below, there are two buttons- one for USB (why?), and another for light, which seems like a great idea, until you press it and it shines the light directly in your face. It's nice that it has two USB ports, but they feel like an afterthought, and very little about this product feels cohesive. Better than having none for sure. The unit also doesnt stand up straight- it stands at a tilt and it wobbles because I dont think the designers thought about people setting this down with the handle facing up. I suppose they expected everyone to put this thing completely flat and have it take up as much space as possible? Perhaps this is by design, or perhaps it's negligent design. I honestly cant tell/care, and am not exactly thrilled with it. There's no easy way to orient the light in any direction, it just shines straight and into your face. Again, feels like an afterthought. Inexplicable design.Overall, had the jump start worked, this would be a barely adequate product, but acceptable for fulfilling that one purpose, and inflating tires. I eventually had to use my other battery to jump start because this just wouldn't do anything. I may try it again, because I want this product to work, but the design really just screams like something bad from two decades ago, and I just am not impressed in any way with it. It's not sleek, it's not intuitive (the on switch for air is a button, but there's an on dial for the jump start- what are all the middle settings on the dial for? Impossible to know.) Maybe for traditional car guys, this is a really awesome tool, but for everyone else who doesnt dabble with cars, I'd say look elsewhere. You'll just be confused and frustrated using this. Very handy 30 Dec 69 This device is very handy. It has a lot of useful features. It was great when my lawn tractor battery died, I could just carry this out to the shed instead of having to remove the battery or take my truck to the shed to jump start it. The usb charger feature is great as well. I'm planning to take this camping next summer, it will provide charging for my phone, a light for my tent, and a jump started in case we run out car battery dead again while at the camp site! So why only 4 stars? For one it does no come with a cord to charge it, just a plug where you have to plug in an extension cord. It would have been easy for them to include a cord like most other electronic equipment. The other reason for 4 stars is the lens over the display was out of place when I got it, I was able to move it back into place, but it makes me question the quality of the unit. Overall I think it's great, and I definitely recommend it. Wouldn't be without it 30 Dec 69 This amazing little unit, the Everstart 750, has made me the hero of my apartment complex. An elderly neighbor lady was relieved after I was able to inflate her tires back to 32psi. She said she had felt unsafe travelling on low tires and said she hadn't been able to check them for over a year and a half as tire air hoses have been very hard to find these days, especially one that worked. All four of her tires were down to dangerous 15-18psi levels and I was happy to make her day. Other neighbors have since asked for my help (or rather my Everstart 750's help) to inflate tires or a jump start on a cold morning. Here on the Gulf Coast, we have many hurricanes and power outages. Last summer, Hurricane Sally left us without power for four days. If I had had my Everstart 750 then, we would all have been charging our cell phones and laptops with it instead of draining our car batteries. The unit also has a powerful light beam which is very bright and comes in very handy after sundown. The LED display is easy to read and shows exactly how much charge is left in the unit. I charge my unit up once a month by plugging it into a wall outlet with an extension cord I had on hand. This unit gives great peace of mind when kept inside the car while travelling in case a tire goes low or the battery dies. No need for a tow truck, just hook up the Everstart 750 and start her right up! Must plug in after jumpstart of vehical 30 Dec 69 This jump box has been very useful as I've needed it many times to start my lawn tractor. The only downside is you have to plug the jump box in after starting a engine. I've also used the compressor many times on my lawn tractor my girls bike tires and soccer balls and has been very useful. It is fairly slow but that's to be expected from a small compressor. The light is very bright and the USB charge ports are very handy and are perfect for when the power goes out. My only complaint would be the storage area for the air hose. It is very small and makes it difficult to store the hose. Other than that I am very satisfied with this jump box. Great portable jump starter with attached air comp 30 Dec 69 This Everstart portable jumpstarter is a great addition to my car emergency kit. It's so much easier and safer to use than regular jumper cables. It's so simple and safe to operate that it would be perfect for anyone to use. And the added bonus of the tire compressor and work light makes it that much better. The instructions are well written and easy to understand with added diagrams. It is also light weight so it's easy to handle and the work light is nice and brite. The compressor can pump up your tire quickly and efficiently and with the on board pressure gauge, you won't have to guess when your tire is at the proper level. So far I have used Everstart jumpstarter twice, once on my coworkers car who had a dead battery and a second time on my work truck that I had forgotten to plug in and would not start due to the cold temps. Both time it was able to start the vehicles and really helped me out. It is simple to recharge by plugging it in to any outlet and once charged, I just put it in the trunk of my car and I'm ready to go. I didn't know how useful it is 30 Dec 69 I haven't needed a jump for my car yet, but if I do I know this battery jumper will work! I'm amazed that there is a car jumper, air compressor, and USB ports all in one small package. I've used the compressor and it tends to drain the battery quickly but thats expected. 10 Star Product 30 Dec 69 This is worth its weight in gold. First of all it has a peak amp jump starting power of 750 which is great. Then if you have a low tire and are in need of air it also has a built in 120 PSI Digital Air Compressor which works for cars, trucks, motorcycles, vans, just about all items with tires. Another feature I simply love is the two 2.1 USB power outlets which powers up your Cell Phone, MB Player, Tablet, Speakers Laptop, or Camera. Now as far as jump starting your vehicle, the heavy duty clamps are easy to read and follow. Black for negative, and red for positive. This is truly a must have for any vehicle and like I said worth it's weight in gold. I loved this one so much that I purchased a second one for another vehicle. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Everstart 750 Amps Jump Starter 30 Dec 69 This has two great advantages, small and light. While it's completely self contained, jump start the battery, inflate a tire, even has USB charging in case your phone is dead and you need to call someone. It is easy to carry, fits most anyplace. In other words, very little excuse not to have one. That perfect gift giving item if you have kids or grand kits that start driving. Exceptionally easy to use, has all the controls on the front, with a light too.How many times have you heard of the spare tire being flat? Ever try to find an station with an air pump, that works?A just in case for every vehicle. Terrible Product, Wish could rate 0 Stars. 30 Dec 69 I was initially excited to get this product as all the advertised features and functions would have made it an ideal "Emergency Kit" for my car. But, from the initial un-boxing, charging and then testing each feature, it was readily clear it was a terrible product from industrial design, materials used, ease of use and ultimate failure to work as advertised.1.) The body of the device feels and looks cheaply made (cheap plastic, cheap product labels, etc). The handle and charging outlet cover are rubberized plastic, but still feels cheap.2.) The device does NOT come with a charging cord!! It is a 2-prong (non-polarized) plug that you must plug in an extension cord (not included) to charge the device. (see photo)3.) Device never gave indication of when it was fully charged (even over-night and all the next day), kept show one charging bar still flashing4.) LED light worked fine, but you can get one just as powerful from a dollar store5.) USB ports worked, but very slow to charge a smart phone.6.) Air compressor connector is a screw-on type, not a quick connect. By the time you unscrew it after inflating something you have bled 10 psi and if its cold or you have gloves on, screwing the connector onto any valve is highly cumbersome (see photo)7.) Air compressor digital reading can be off by 10-25 PSI from actual PSI (verified with a 3rd party gage) that is if you can actual screw the connector on well enough to inflate anything. And as many newer cars TPMS can detect even a 2 PSI difference between tires, this device is no where near accurate enough.8.) I want to store the product vertically (not flat) and it will not stand up properly in that position.9.) The Operating Instructions are just awful. Poorly written and in such a tiny type size you need a magnifying glass to read them. No Quick Start Guide is provided10.) I will admit that I never used the product to try and "jump start" anything as the opportunity did not arise. But based on everything else wrong with the product, I refuse to even attempt it. I live in Upstate, NY (its cold and car batteries can die) but I would NEVER keep this product in the trunk of my car or depend on it for an emergency situation, it is far too unreliable. There are much better products on the market in this price range. Avoid at all costs. Complete junk 30 Dec 69 Left it to charge all day and night and no issues there. Decided to top off my pickup's tires, which are 70 psi so I figured this would be a good test, and it did better than expected. Then, it started smoking...could have just been because it's burning off oil or something because it's new. Well, it won't shut off. After screwing around with it for several minutes I finally got the LCD screen off so I thought I had it, but no the compressor is still running. I'm hoping now it'll run dead before my neighbors get too ticked off at me. Needless to say I'll never use this again.Oh, and when I call the 877 number it has to call about "Problems with the product" I get a short recording that says "our hours of operation are Mon-Fri from 9am-5pm, goodbye" and it hangs up. Wow! Sooo bad... 30 Dec 69 Where do I start? I charged the product as directed. It died before I could inflate two low tires on my mother-in-law's truck. So I recharged hoping for a better result. Same thing, died again after two tires. The automatic digital inflator was buggy. So for the extra size and weight, not worth the trouble. I'll just use my cigarette lighter plug in inflator which is much faster anyway. Disappointing product. Oh, never tried jumping of a vehicle, figured it wouldn't. It also possible I got a dud. Good price if you're looking for a combo unit 30 Dec 69 First of all, to address some of the petty complaints in other reviews: yes, it does need a standard household extension cord to charge it up. That saves a lot of space, and if you don't own an extension cord, you really have no business doing ANYTHING to your vehicle other than filling the fuel tank. It IS a battery, so once you fully charge it in your house or in your garage, there's really no need to charge it again for a month or so unless you have an emergency and use it, so having a built-in cord on a battery powered booster would be kind of silly. None of my cordless drills or saws or leaf blowers came with a power cord, either.Point number two: The compressor is for emergencies so that you can get to the nearest gas station, or to your home. It's not designed to sit there and pump up four dead flat tires, and probably WILL get hot and/or take forever to do so. Just looking at the physical size of it should tell you that. There's only so much air that that little cylinder can put out per stroke. If you need an air compressor to air up multiple flat car tires, or pool toys or other high volume items on a daily basis, buy an actual air compressor. Complaining about how this thing takes forever to air up four flat truck tires is about as silly as complaining about how long it takes a fire extinguisher to water your lawn.As for the jump starter, it's medium-duty and should start a 4 or 6 cylinder car pretty easily, and could probably jump a V8 that just needs a boost. If you have an old, weak battery that has gone dead flat, this might not be the answer, but if you've left your lights on and need a jump, this will work fine. This is a lead-acid battery, so it's heavy. I prefer the little lithium-ion boosters, but this unit also has the compressor to top off tires, which is nice. The picture includes a 1 quart oil bottle, so you can see the relative size of it.I can't speak to how long it holds a charge, but a lithium ion battery would have been much better than a lead acid battery, in my opinion. If you use it, then yes, it makes sense to charge it afterward, just like any battery powered tool. Are there better battery boosters out there? Yep, but they cost more than this unit. Are there better portable air compressors out there? Yep, but they don't jump start your car. For the price, this combo unit is pretty sweet. Compact,Portal & Easy to use 30 Dec 69 This is nice product can we used for various purposes. I used it to fill air in soccer ball, volley ball etc its quick any easy. Nice to have all season to top up air in car tyres its works like a charm.Jump starter i tried with my old car it works well and the easy to read digital display shows the polarity correctly. The battery seems to stay for long period of time. For night use the screen has a backlit and to work in dark area it has LED lights. Two USB ports are great to charge our phones. This unit comes with the air house and small pin to fill air in balls and the jumper cables. It does not come with the charging cable we need to use from our home/buy one.The menu buttons are good and easy to use functionalities. Does the job 30 Dec 69 A few months back had a dead battery at 4 am. Had jumper cables but nobody around to help me out. If it ever happens again this compact unit will do the job. Also I will be using it to top off the air in my tires without having to drag around a extension cord. Have used it once already to top off 3 cars and my motorcycle and still had plenty of power left. I also like having the USB charging ports. Will come in handy during power outages(live in Florida Hurricanes). Does the job 30 Dec 69 This jump starter and inflater tool is just what I needed. It's compact, fairly light and easy to use. It fits handily in the back area of my SUV giving me confidence to be prepared for any of several potentioal problems. The inflator hose could be a little easier to get out of it's housing and back in for that matter but it is acceptable as it does the job. It's very handy due to being portable so if a wheelbarrow or hand cart needs a little tire inflating this is perfect. The pressure regulator seems to be right on the money. I haven't used the jumpstart feature yet as I have had no need to but in the past i have found myself in need of just what this unit is designed for. Consequintly I feel prepared for the next time and this is a very nice feeling.I like the digital read out windw that utomatically shows either air pressure setting or voltage and the feature that allows you to set the pounds per square inch to automatically stop inflation when the set number is reached. I am going to get another one of these for my son who is preparing to take a cross country trip next month. I can recall several times in the past when I wish I had something like this to get me out of a jam. Jump Starter 30 Dec 69 This a something I've wanted for a while and glad I got it, it has helped me to jump my motorcycle battery and pump up the tires on my car. Like all the stuff it can do besides jump start a car or pump up tires. Kind of slow pumping up a flat tire but most tire inflators are. It cranks start my Toyota Camry! 30 Dec 69 My Toyota Camry did not start because it wasn't used for a couple months due to Covid. This Everstart 750 jumped start it within the first try. A week ago, I had a "low tire pressure" light come on while I was driving. After pulling over, I took the Everstart out of the back seat (it's been sitting there for a month), and filled my tire effortlessly. I would like to address the feedbacks about the overheating: if you read the manual, it says that do not use the air compressor for more than 10 minutes at a time as the device will start to overheat! Great jump starter, fantastic compressor! 30 Dec 69 I have tested this jump starter on several vehicles. It's generally great but although not perfect, but gets very close. Out of the box it came already charged, but the instruction manual indicates to charge anyway before use. This device allows you to jumpstart a vehicle (main function), and also has a digital "preset" compressor, has USB charge ports, and an LED lamp. I will focus my review on the jumpstart function and the compressor, because this is what I'm most interested in. CHARGING DEVICEIt's important to point out that the extension cord needed to charge this device is NOT included. You must provide your own. The one I have is meant to be used with North American outlets only. The prongs are situated in such a way that only the "utility" type extension cords are likely to fit. It CANNOT be charged from a 12V system. It charges surprisingly quickly.LAMP AND CHARGE PORTSI tested the lamp and connected my phone to both USB charge ports. Both the lamp and charge ports work well, and its nice to have them. The lamp and both charge ports are activated by momentary push buttons. JUMPSTARTER I connected this device to several vehicles to see the voltage reading, and I jumpstarted one of them. After carefully reading the instructions, (which are printed in very small print) I proceeded to test one of our biggest vehicles which is a 6 cylinder SUV. Sure enough, it works but with one note worthy situation. I followed the instruction carefully and they instruct you to place the jump starter's negative clamp on the vehicle chasis. The vehicle would not crank at all. I tried various parts of the chasis, and no cranking took place. Finally, I simply placed the negative clamp on the negative vehicle terminal and my SUV started up fine. The instructions tell you NOT to do this, but to use the chasis instead, which would not start my SUV. The instructions do not say why you must use the chasis instead of the negative terminal.COMPRESSORMy most frequent use is the compressor. Out of the box, I notice that the compressor cord is tucked away in a very tight space which is difficult to put back in. It is perfectly fine to simply leave it hanging out side to avoid twisting the hose, which could eventually crack it. The hose is made of rubber, although the inside could have a different material. The connector is the screw in type which, by the way, has almost no leak when connecting, which is amazing. The hose is surprisingly long enough to reach the tire valve even when the valve is at the top of the tire on large wheels. After you set the desired pressure and start the compressor, it will continue to operate until it gets to about 1.0 psi close to the desired pressure. At this point you can hear it slow down and continue for the remaining 1.0 psi, and then is stops automatically when it reaches the intended pressure, which in my vehicle is 33 psi. This is the first time I see a compressor that actually slows down when it's getting close to the preset pressure. Once the tire is inflated, you unscrew the hose. There is very little leak when unscrewing the hose, which is fantastic. Most compressors blow out a lot of air when disconnecting the hose.ACCURACY OF COMPRESSORI used my old fashioned, analog pressure gauge to compare it to this digital compressor. I found that there is a 1 to 2 psi deviation. To me this is well within the reasonable margin of error and actually quiet small. I would say that the loudness of this compressor is medium, because I've had louder compressors but also quieter ones.FINAL THOUGHTSOverall, this is a great jump starter and compressor. My only real complaint is that the compartment for the compressor hose is too small and requires a lot of twisting which will eventually cause a crack in the hose, based on my experience with previous compressors, so I don't intend on twisting the hose into that compartment too often. It has a good weight. I needs rubber pads on the bottom to prevent scratching. I wish it had a 12v charging option, but its not essential. And as I mentioned above, to jump start a vehicle I had to disregard the instructions and I connected the device directly to the car (SUV in my case) battery terminals, as opposed to the chasis as indicated in the instruction manual.
