Recently calibrated and fully functioning hygrothermograph (which measures humidity and temperature) in museums and galleries all over the world. This piece was formerly used by the Art Institute of Chicago to monitor the Impressionist Galleries. Very well taken care of and maintained. This is Maxant's "Standard" Version which is larger than the compact version. At sale, I will include a link to the instructions and a short guide on the importance of maintaining temperature and humidity for your collections. I will include two felt tip pens in the original packaging, but they may be dried out. I will also include 50 days worth of 7-day rotation sheets which is valued at $35.00, one AA battery, plus the two original keys. Some cracks to the outside plastic casing (see photos), but they don't detract from the functionality or look of the unit (all of the cracks are on one side of the casing and are thus easily shielded from view). Made in the U.S.A. in Chicago, Illinois. Will be professionally packed for shipment. Taken from the web, The first piece of equipment you need in any successful environmental monitoring program is a hygrothermograph. This model records humidity levels (0 - 100% RH, +/- 3% mid-range) and temperature (+14 to 114 degrees F, +/- 1.5) simultaneously with a human hair humidity sensor and bimetalic temperature sensor. Battery powered quartz drive lets you select allows you to record a full 7-day rotation. Two long-life felt tip pens included. New charcoal metallic finish and complementing smoked acrylic plexiglas window design makes this unit as attractive as it is dependable. The lockable hinged top includes a carrying handle.
