TOTALLY REFURBISHED DUST DOOR FOR YOUR DELTA UNISAW OR HD SHAPER. Why buy a vintage take-off dust door and then still be left to do the disassembly and refurbishment once you receive it? Take-offs are never in perfect shape and the going price for an original condition, unrefurbished door is usually $65 to $70 . This 9" x 12" door is an OEM Delta dust door from a 1951 or later saw or shaper. Doors from this era had only the louvered face plate, without a back side plate like the earlier dust doors. This door is totally reconditioned with all orginal hardware, plus it includes a brand new $25.00 stainless steel reproduction name plate. You only need to finish paint the door to match your Delta machine and install the latch and name plate. To refurbish this original dust door, the handle, shaft, and cam latch were removed.... and the rivets holding the original name tag were driven out. The door was then sandblasted, bumped to remove any dents, dings, or bent louvers, and then prime painted. The photos in this listing are of the actual parts being offered and show the door in the numerous steps of its restoration, from sand blasted condition its ready-to-ship prime painted condition. The knob, sleeve, and cam latch components are also included and are in mint condition. All the latch components and knob were sandblasred and then polished with a Scotch-brite pad.. . The knob and shaft are clean and blemish free.The cam's original slotted setscrew has been replaced with a stainless steel socket head setscrew. Included with this refurbished and primed dust door is a NEW vertical dust door stainless steel name plate. The better-yhan-original nameplate is bagged and comes complete with (3) #5 stainless steel screws to secure it to the door in lieu of the drive rivets originally used. The holes in the door have been tapped to accept these screws. Original style drive rivets are also included should your wish to not mount the tag with the screws.
